Sharqy Café
History
Located next to Hammam Al Jadeed in the heart of Saida Old Town, the historic site of Sharqy Café was the furnace of Hammam Al Jadeed. It was renovated and launched by Sharqy Foundation in 2011 as part of a broader initiative to revitalize and support the cultural scene in Saida’s historic center. It was created not only as a place to serve local food and beverages, but as a multifunctional space that encourages social interaction, cultural exchange, and support local craftsmanship and community initiatives.
Mission
Beyond hospitality, the café plays an important role in supporting local creators and organizations. By providing shelf and display space, it helps artisans and small initiatives showcase their work and reach a wider audience. This approach strengthens the local economy while preserving traditional crafts and encouraging contemporary

Sharqy Café provides visitors and local residents with a unique combination of a coffee shop, a souvenir & gift shop, and a place for artistic galleries and cultural events. Sharqy Café serves a wide range of Arabic and International coffee, freshly-baked pastries and local delicacies in a traditional yet sophisticated setting. Sharqy Café also offers high quality souvenirs including local & international wood, textile, soap, candle, glass works and other arts, as well as modern gifts suitable for all tastes & occasions. Located close to the centre of the city, Sharqy Café is also the ideal venue for all types of meetings and conferences, social gatherings and cultural events such as exhibitions, art shows, and musical performances.
